The Coronavirus Act 2020 was the most egregious example of an Enabling Act 1933 there ever was. Now we have government ministers who act like little Henry VIII dictators making laws or repealing them without seeking parliamentary approval.

This has set a bad habit with government ministers who now believe they can behave like despots.

A new law passed through parliament by the last parliament called the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023 came into effect in May 2023 to address the cancel culture in our universities, was put on hold by the Labour government, without parliamentary approval.

This act is ultra vires and parliament and the media should hold the Labour Party to account, but all we hear is crickets.

Communism was an experiment of the cabal, as was fascism . Therefore it’s no surprise that we are seeing a hybrid system as they are applying what they have learned.

These are footprints in the sand.

I am currently reading 'The Bride of Science' by Benjamin Woolley. It's about the 19c death of Romanticism via the envelopment of Science and industrialisation, as reviewed through the eyes of Ada Lovelace - Lord Byron's estranged daughter. A ripping factual yarn.

This podcast reflects the above, with knobs on.

Definitely get Simon Elmer back on.

Thank you so much.

Romania during the 1980s? My wife and her family were there, and, perhaps suprisingly, they actually remember it through rose-tinted spectacles. Perhaps this is because, despite the severe privations, they were somehow still allowed to believe in themselves, which seems to not be the plan for humanity at this point in history.

Thanks for this one. One of your most important conversations I think due to the clarity in which he (and you) describe the nature of the world we live in. Simon is essential listening and reading. I have used his analogy, his writing about the similarity between the rise of Nazi Germany and what happened here under lock down with friends. I don't understand how they just won't see it when it is as plain as the nose on your face to me. This should be broadcast all over the media and be essential teaching in schools and universities.

Another great chat. I love Simon's take on what's going on - his comments on the controversial chapter on racism from his book (criticism of the non white politicians who are promoting the great reset goals gets shut down on the grounds of racism) and on Israel and the way the images are being used struck home and would account for some of the madness we see.
