Since 2020 I've consumed so much information from listening to so many podcasts that I think I've developed a sort of podcast 'burnout'. I now find myself podcast-hopping with the same end result as when I used to subscribe to Netflix ie spending ages looking for something of interest only to come away empty handed. It's also bizarre that having consumed so much information about the world as it really is, and not how it's presented to us, the less I actually know or can recall.
I didn't vote in our last 2 elections as I recently discovered that they get paid $2.75 for every name that is ticked off the list. I refuse to support such evil deception that is the selection. In Australia they will take your drivers licence away id you don't pay the fine. They refused to accept my reason so now I do the religious exemption. 30,000 failed to vote in our last state election out of a population of 500,000. That's a substantial amount. And I think it sends a clear message we don't consent.
I worry the pensions and benefits systems will be used to build critical mass for the widespread adoption of CDBC. Are pension companies (and state pensions) under contract to pay pensions in "£" or could they impose CDBC? What happened in countries that switched from a national currency to Euro?
